Formed from a solid piece of our Carbon-Fibre filled Nylon polymer, the Single Piece Adaptor is rigid, light and compatible with all milspec buffer tube AR variant buttstocks.
By combining the buffer tube and fitment system into one piece, the base of the buttstock is brought much closer to the rear or the receiver, and placed in line with the barrel. Addressing common complaints with two piece designs.
The adaptor has identical dimensions to a milspec buffer tube and as such it is universally compatible. The adaptor has detents for adjustable stocks in states for which this is permitted.
The adaptor comes with an extended bolt and nut for installation.
(Please note this adaptor is not compatible with A2 buffer tube stocks, such as the Magpul MOE Rifle Length Buttstock. These tubes have different dimensions.)
FAQ's
How does the adaptor attach to the rifle?
The adaptor slots over the lug used to attach the standard stock to the rifle. It is a snug fit. A large bolt is included to slot through the hole in the lug. It is then fastened underneath the adaptor with a large nut.
Is the adaptor strong/stiff/tough?
Yes. The blend of Nylon 6 we're using is rigid and impact resistant. The adaptor does not bend when installed. The adaptor does not deform under recoil.
Can i mount things to the picatinny rail at the base of the adaptor?
Although optics may fit over this rail, we don't recommend this practice. A polymer rail is not stiff enough to hold zero long term.
Is the adaptor compatible with adjustable buttstocks?
Yes. The adaptor has detents for adjustable stocks. Keep in mind due to its material it has slightly more resistance during adjustment.
