Our Buffer Tube Adapter is finally here!
Formed from a solid piece of our Nylon Carbon Fibre polymer, the Single Piece adapter is rigid, light and compatible with all milspec buffer tube AR variant buttstocks.
Our mission was to craft an adapter that would bring more customisability to your rifle. To fit a competition stock for the range, or a lightweight stock for the hunt.
By combining the buffer tube and the fitment system into one piece, we've managed to bring the base of the 'buffer tube' much closer to the rear of the receiver than in other two piece designs. Further still, we've place the adapter perfectly in line with the barrel, which should help with recoil control, and with getting a good cheek-weld. Solving the common problem of the 'too low' stock from some other designs.
The adapter comes with an extended bolt, nut and spacer for installation.
Installation is straightforward, simply place the nylon spacer into the hole left by the removal of the standard buttstock bolt, place our adapter over the rear of the receiver, place the extended bolt through the hole, and tighten.
The fit may be snug upon initial installation, this is to ensure prolonged rigidity.
The adapter has identical dimensions to a milspec buffer tube, and as such it should be universally compatible. However, for piece of mind, below is a list of confirmed 'known compatible' buttstocks. Those we have tested in house.
Magpul MOE Fixed Carbine Butt Stock (most common)
Magpul PRS Gen 3
Magpul PRS Lite
Luth AR Fixed Butt Stock
Please note this adapter is not compatible with A2 buffer tube stocks, such as the Magpul MOE Rifle Length Buttstock. These tubes have different dimensions.
